Italian culture courses
Additional short courses of Italian Cooking, Business Italian, Italian Fashion, Art history and Painting enable foreign students to deepen various aspects of the Italian culture and to acquire a general knowledge of the subject they are interested in. These courses are held in the afternoons twice a week. Each lesson is made up of two hours. They can be one-to-one or group courses. On students' request it is possible to deepen or widen the programs.
Italian Cooking

Students attend theoretical classes at school of Italian cooking terminology and practical lessons at the teacher's home, where they learn how to prepare and cook typical Italian dishes. Lesson prices include the cost for the ingredients and the tasting. On students' request it is possible to prepare particular dishes.
Business Italian
The course aims to provide students with the bases to understand business terminology and to know the various stages of Italian commercial life in both business and tourist sector. Students learn how to understand and write commercial letters, communicate by phone, introduce themselves, apply for a job, solve various problems, learn business documents, the rules as well as public and private institutions.
Italian Fashion
During the course students will be provided with information concerning the origin of the "Made in Italy", the great Italian fashion designers, their distinctive characteristics and their life history. Each lesson will approach various topics, such as terminology, textiles, accessories, fashion-shows and latest trends. The aim of the course is to make students learn deeply this fascinating world under the guidance of an expert teacher.
Art history
The course gives students an overview of art history in Florence. Florence, an "open-air museum", is the city of the Renaissance. During each lesson the teacher will introduce a single epoch, giving information on a monument or a building of great artistic and architectonic value. Students will also be able to visit the most famous museums of Florence together with the teacher and therefore understand the contents of the greatest works of art on exhibit.
