The school was very good. The teachers were very nice and helpful. I learned a lot in both classes, the grammar class and conversation. The classes were fun and I enjoyed afternoon trips with the class through the city of Firenze. The apartment was very nice, always kept clean and tidy. The area was central, close to everything, which I loved. Maria was a really nice lady and very hospitable. Overall my room, bathroom and kitchen were fantastic.

The school is very well organized and everybody is extremely personable, Francesca and Giulia are so wonderful and very, very helpful teachers! I knew absolutely no Italian at the beginning of the class and now I fell much more comfortable getting around and trying to speak Italian at stores and restaurants. It’s been a great experience and if I have the chance to come back to Firenze, I will definitely come back to this school!

I have really enjoyed my time at Instituto il David. The lessons were very good as they involved a lot of interaction with all in the class. I feel I have as good understanding of Italian after 4 weeks here. I have been staying with the family…. and have thoroughly enjoyed my stay. They have been very kind since my arrival and there have been no problems.

The atmosphere in the school was very nice. I made some new friends already the first day. The teachers were all very nice and patient, and their classes were useful. My Italian really improved, also because the 2 individual hours of class every day. I can recommend this school to everyone. I lived an a really nice apartment with 2 great girls. The apartment was almost in the centre and it was not far from the school.

My impression of the school is very good. Small, cozy and relaxed. The teachers were very good, lots of patience and humor, so I went every day! The program was also very good. My experience with this school was perfect. I lived with an Italian student in the centre of Florence. I really liked my roommate and the place, perfect for these two months. The house was clean and my roommate very easy-going, thanks.

I loved the school! I have learned so much I could probably write this in Italian! I could write it, but still can’t speak it… All the teachers I’ ve had were very knowledgeable + helpful. These two months have been a great experience. I want to come back next year! I liked my apartment very much + my roommates were great. It was close to the school + in a decent neighborhood. Very clean, well kept flat!

Good, otherwise I wouldn’t have come back! Chiara’s class is very helpful. She is an experienced and patient teacher who explained concepts well. The afternoon one-to-one session with Carlotta was very interesting. She focused articles and themes on my interests and needs. Room and apartment fine. Friendly, helpful and non-intrusive hosts. However, as the apartment is directly on the square Piazza santa Croce, it is very noisy, particularly late at night.

The school was very nice and friendly, very helpful with getting acclimated to the town. Very helpful with any problems and the teachers were all very friendly and nice. Make it very easy to learn Italian! Apartment was very nice. Great location to school and center and train station. Room was nice and big. Big bed and tv.
