This is my second experience with the school and again, it was terrific. I had 4 great teachers, all of them were good, natured, encouraging and energetic. I especially liked G. as she focused most on pronunciation and would spend as much time as necessary for us to comprehend a subject. The school is very well organized and the atmosphere is quite positive. I would strongly recommend this school to others.

Istituto Il David was a really good choice as a language school, I learned a lot here. I found the classes fun and educative. The art history classes, where we went out and saw actual things, were really good. Also the people in class and the teachers had a good communication. I recommend it to all.

When I first arrived at the the school my impression was very good! Immediately everyone was friendly and welcoming! After my stay for one month I feel at home. All the teachers have been very patient and efficient while teaching! They always make learning Italian funwith games! The apartment I stayed in was wonderful! Very good location and everything worked fine! The apartment also had extra blankets, pillows, towels which was nice!

The school was one fantastic experience. Well organized, experienced with great staff. From the reception desk to the classroom. I expecially liked Giulia, who motivated me and quickly realized my needs according to my abilities. I like activities at school, treasure hunt was great fun. Everyone here was so friendly and even often one week I felt like at home. Love the city, love the school! Coming back next Summer! Thank you!

The Istituto Il David is a very well-run language school. I really enjoyed the course and think that having a conversation class is a great idea. At first it was difficult, but the teachers were very nice and helpful. I really liked that there was an activity going on everyday and that the school always had any information I needed.

The teachers were so nice and when I didn’t understand things they saw it and helped me. Plus, I could feel that if I had problems in general I had people I could go to! I really liked the fact that we are able to to be in different levels for grammar and conversation. Really love the teachers I had, they both are very good teachers, are able to speak very clearly every topic; also if I would ask them a new topic they were not prepared for that day. I used to teach English, German and Portuguese, for foreigners, so I know how hard it is to teach grammar when “unprepared” for it.

I really enjoyed this school because it is much smaller than the others offered in Firenze. Both teachers that I had during the 4 weeks here were very helpful. I enjoyed conversation class because it was useful when talking to people outside of the classroom. Having grammar class before conversation made it easier to speak in conversation class. Overall I truly enjoyed learning here at Istituto Il David and would recommend it to others eager to learn Italian.

I enjoyed the school. The course was challenging but the instructors were very helpful when I did not understand. They explained until I understood. I learned more than I expected to in only one week. I liked how the grammar instructor switched after 2 hours to a new instructor. Both instructors were great.
