The classes were very well organized! Giulia was a wonderful teacher to have as a beginner. She was very patient but stayed at a good pace. My second half of the month, the conversation classes with Antonella were very interactive. The school was very helpful with everything and I really feel like I have improved! All the teachers and people at the school have been wonderful! My apartment was perfect! The street felt very safe at night and was close to lots of cafés and bars. It was close to the school as well! Lots of space and very convenient to have a washing machine! Thanks for everything!

Truly I can say that scuola Il David is a very comprehensive school. They teach students in a very simplified way so as to carry everybody along. I have learnt some method to speak the simple Italian verbs without making mistakes again. Scuola David is a wonderful school in the way they organize for extra activities for students, aperitivo was great. Bravi! Bravi! Bravi!

It was a very good experience with excellent teachers. Also the method was good with grammar and different teacher for conversation. I’m sorry that I couldn’t participate in programs organized by the school because I had to work at home during the afternoons. But the programs seemed good! Well organized school!

The Istituto Il David was very good. The teachers explained the rules of grammar very well and slowly. They helped me and were patient while in class. They did not put me in the spot which I appreciated. They understand we are learning Italian and they took their time explaining the pronunciation of Italian words and phrases. They answered all of my questions. The staff here is also very friendly and I appreciate all the help they provided me. I had a lot of fun and will always remember my time at the Istituto Il David. Thank you for everything. The apartment was more than I was expecting. The location was perfect. I was walking distance to all the major attractions in Florence. My room was big and comfortable. I enjoyed the company of my roommates and the apartment. I felt safe in the area. Safety is very important.

I have nothing but great things to say about the school, I have only been learning Italian for 5 weeks but I have learned very much in my short time here. I am very impressed with the kindness and dedication of the staff. Francesca is an amazing teacher; she is intelligent, confident and full of life. I enjoyed learning in her classroom. The Italian program itself is well put together so as to learn the basics first and then go from there. Thank you for everything, I will continue to study Italian when I go back to Canada. The apartment I was staying in was great, everything we needed was there. It was located in a perfect location, very close to the school and central to everything in the city. The café under the apartment was amazing; I met many interesting people who helped me with my Italian. All around I would recommend the school and the accommodations to anyone.

I’ve liked everything in general: teachers, group, art history tours with Anna… The school has arranged everything very well and professionally. I’ve also got all the answers for my questions. Conversation lessons have been excellent! Elisa has made the lessons funny, efficient and interesting. I’ve also learnt a lot of grammar in the mornings. It’s been good, because I’d forgotten so many things. Art history during the evenings has been very important and interesting for me. Thank you all! I’m glad I could do the mixed course with language and art.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here and have really learned a lot. The course has been well-paced and after four weeks I have gone from not knowing a word of Italian to being able to hold simple conversations and understanding more complicated language. Antonella has been very encouraging and is an excellent teacher, explaining difficult grammar points fluently and Francesca has also been brilliant at getting me to speak Italian and taking us on trips outside of the school. Daniela has also been very helpful with more practical matters. My room is large and quiet and the apartment is very clean and well equipped. The location is excellent, close to the school and the city centre. It is very reasonably priced and I like it so much I’m staying another four weeks!

The entire experience was absolutely lovely in every way. The course content and the classes in general were very informative and fun. Above all Francesca and Sara were both superb and I enjoyed every class thoroughly. The atmosphere in general at the school was always relaxed and wonderful. What a pleasure! I sincerely hope to return very soon. The apartment is lovely and is in a great position. I felt very comfortable and safe. Maria is a really sweet and kind lady as well. I can’t complain about anything.

The school was one of the best experiences I have had. I didn’t expect to like to go to school, but I loved coming here. The atmosphere here is wonderful, it is like a big family with all the activities after school and the teachers are so nice and helpful. They were all great. Also the services provided by Daniela were great, such as making reservations for museums and receiving our mail. Everyone makes it easy to be in a new city and I really appreciate it. Thanks so much for the great experience. I hope I can come back to study in the next couple years.
