I enjoyed the school and the lesson a lot.The teachers were all very helpful, check and explained the concept very well. Loved the apartment that I stayed in. It was large, comfortable and always clean. Silvia was a great host and enjoyed living with her. Also it allowed me the opportunity to speak only in Italian to home.

We have had a fantastic 2 weeks in Florence. We took a 2-week "standard course" (4 hours' lessons/day) which allowed a perfect balance of time to spend learning Italian and seeing the sights. The teaching was excellent especially as this was our first time learning Italian. The school trips were good value with friendly and informative guides. Its location in the heart of Florence added to the generally wonderful experience.

The school was very organized. I liked having 2 classes, really enjoyed the conversation class. I found the grammar class a little hard sometimes, but it was a good challenge. Everyone was also very helpful, teachers and secretary. The apartment was perfect. Thank you for letting me leave my backpack before I arrived to school!

I loved my stay at the school. The program was challenging but I was able to comprehend what I was taught. I learned so much. I loved both of my teachers. Their enthusiasm for the language was contagious. I would certainly do this program again if I had the chance. My apartment was wonderful. It was very spacious and clean when I arrived. The SMN area was, unfortunately, very noisy, due to a great deal of construction, but other than that it was fine. I enjoyed my stay very much.

The course at il David is excellent. All the teachers have given very clear explanations about the grammar and they have made me more confident when speaking Italian. I have enjoyed every minute of my lessons and don’t want to leave Florence! The lessons were very entertaining so that, although I had to work hard to learn everything, the 4 hours passed very quickly. I was made to feel very welcome by everybody on the staff of Istituto Il David. The lessons about the History of Art were very interesting and we have learnt a great deal to help us understand all the cultural and artistic treasures in Florence and in Italy. Il David Institute is an excellent place to visit and enjoy Florence, Italian language and the people. The afternoon in Chianti was great! Grazie mille, al prossimo anno!

I had a lovely time in this school. I was satisfied with all the classes. I have to mention that the teacher of grammar was very good at explaining the grammar, and the teacher of conversation, her method of teaching is excellent as well. Of course all the teachers were friendly at all times, pleasant to learn from. I checked out lots of other schools before attending Italian lessons , and I made a decision to come to Istituto Il David because of your receptionist :) who gave me a very good impression. It was a good decision: thanks for her!
